What network interface should be used for Accord Server?

Our IT team is asking what network configuration is recommended for the Accord Server PC. Should it be wired or can it run on Wi-Fi?

A wired network interface with a static IPv4 address is strongly recommended for Accord Server. Accord Server will attempt to automatically configure this section to the optimal settings by selecting the fastest active connection, but static wired connections are preferred for reliability in industrial environments.
