What is the Accord Product ID / Program Routes feature?

We produce multiple products through the same physical plant and need the system to automatically use the right equipment for each product. Is this something Accord supports?

Product ID allows programs to be configured with routes — different paths through the plant that a particular product or batch can take. By setting a Product ID, the program automatically selects the correct units and equipment for the product being processed. Whitelisted Products can also be defined to restrict which product types are permitted to run a given program.
