What is the Accord HMI?

I'm trying to explain the operator interface to my site manager. What exactly is the Accord HMI and what does it let operators do?

The Accord HMI is the operator-facing screen system. It is configured in Accord Designer using HMI controls and bindings, and displayed at runtime using the Accord HMI Runtime application. Operators use it to monitor plant status, issue device commands, manage programs, view alarms, run plans, and access historical data.
