What is Service Redundancy in Accord Server?

We're considering adding a backup server for our critical plant. Does Accord support server redundancy and how does it work?

Service Redundancy enables an Accord Server installation to act as a backup (Partner service) for another networked Accord Server (Primary service). If the Primary fails, the Partner takes over automatically. The Partner obtains all configuration from the Primary's database. The Partner must not have any existing projects before being configured as such.
