I've seen AIPC mentioned in the Controller Summary section of Designer but there's no explanation of what it means. Can someone explain what Accord Integrated Process Control actually refers to?

Accord Integrated Process Control (AIPC) is referenced in the Controller Summary section of Accord Designer. It represents the overall integrated control framework — combining the process model in Designer, the PLC Library executing on the physical controller, and Accord Server managing communications and data — into a unified, coordinated process control system for industrial automation.
