What is a Recipe in Accord?

We run multiple product types through the same plant with different temperatures and times. I've been told Recipes handle this in Accord but I'm not sure how. Can someone explain?

A Recipe is a named collection of Setpoints, Step Times, and Decisions associated with a program. Recipes allow the same program to run with different parameters for different products or process variants. For example, a cleaning program could have different step durations and setpoint temperatures for different product types, each defined as a separate recipe.
